Another season done. Another season of incredible play and tough defeats. Another season banging bodies, bruised legs and arms, and heartbreak injuries. Another season watching amazing athletes, and me standing there with indescribable awe. Another season done. Can't wait for 2010! Thank you Seattle Storm.

The whole concept of sports is about trying your hardest no matter what happens, never giving up and putting it all out there, even though you know you are likely to fail. There can only be one champion, everyone else can only walk away knowing that they did everything they could to win. Other than "making more shots" I don't know what the Storm TEAM could have done in Game 3 on Sunday. There was no whining about bad calls, no heads hung, no looks of dejection. Watch the game and tell me that the players could have done more.

Huge thanks to the Storm players, staff and owners! After game 2 I actually thought about getting a Storm tattoo to go with the Reign one. Enjoy the break and see you in 2010.

I think the fact that game 3 was so anti-climactic after the game 2 stunner, and was an afternoon game, contributed to our early exit. The energy didn't feel quite the same. That and the refs just KILLING momentum in the first half. Jeesh, let them play ball! You could hear Sue's disappointment in the locker room interview and we feel her pain. We deserved to go all the way with this group of fighters. But that's basketball. Already feeling the withdrawal pains but looking forward to next summer. Thank you, ladies, for bringing it every night. As Brian said, you are a team of "high character" and you make us proud, whether you win or lose.

It is very hard to lose in the first round for the fifth straight year....But this team had more Heart than teams in years past. I believe if not for injuries we could have went further.
To all the Storm staff you are the best people in the world! Love you all!!!
I cant wait till next year! 2010 year of the STORM!

Wow... I love this team, I love what we do, I love how we do it.

Loosing is hard, but we didn't do a whole lot of it this year. Even when we did loose, it was always dang close. We love to win, but I just love to be a part of whatever we're doing. Ladies (The players, fans, owners, leadership), you motivated me to finish college in four years, you motivated me to be in healthy relationships with myself and with other people, you make me proud to be a women and even more proud when I get a chance to wash my warm-up jersey and wear it around town. I'm young and I'm stupid (22 years old), but the best decision I ever made was to use my grocery money to buy season tickets a few years ago. I'm so proud of what we did this season. Refs can't get me down, no one can. Seattle is the greatest place to play in the WNBA even if we didn't win a championship this year. I can't wait for next season and I'm excited to hear what everyone has planned for the off season (I am sure that no one is really going to be "off" though). So to Sue, Lauren, Katie, Ashley, ARob, Suzy, Shannon, Camille, Janelle, Swin, Tanisha, La'Tangela, A'Quonesia, Brian, Shelly, Nancy, Tom, Kevin, Adia, Dick, Anne, Lisa, Ginny, Dawn, Karen, and everyone that keeps it running... Thank you for everything you've done for the city of Seattle and women's basketball in the northwest! GO STORM!!!!!!!!

Another brilliant season by the Storm. We were 2nd in the WC, won on a 9 player roster and pushed the series to a game 3 decider.

Tanisha Wright, Camille Little and Swin Cash stepped it up 10, no, 20(!) notches this season. Things can only get better!!

Sue and Lauren were their usual selves, giving it 100% night in, night out and bringing the fight to every single game. Sue in those critical moments, to send it into OT gets her the clutch award of the decade.

Suzy Batgirl, she stepped it up bigtime in the playoffs. I hope she returns next year and we get to see more of her on the floor while LJ's playing too.

Pee Wee, sad to see her finish her career but glad she chose to do so in Seattle. Great back up for Sue.

KG, we missed your 3's! I'm thinking about all the trees that Carter Subaru could've been planting right now. It's cool though, I'm pretty sure Suzy had them plant a mini rainforest in the postseason.

JB, played some amazing games down the stretch to fill Lauren's shoes - and they are BIG shoes to fill! Good job, we missed you!

ARob, your crazy arms-a-flailing defense in game 2 was fantastic. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to push it to a game 3.

Storm crew - Kevin, Adia, Dick, Doppler, David, Karen, and everyone else behind the scenes - you all make it so easy to be a Storm fan. Best organisation in the league, hands down.

Thanks everyone for another great season. It's going to be a long offseason, but I'm already looking forward to more memories and game-2-esque moments in 2010.

GO STORM!!

The Storm fought through the whole year. It seems every year we get hit by the injury bug, but they never gave up, and I'm proud of this team. They gave me a wonderful summer here, halfway across the globe, and I can't thank them enough.

I'm sure we all wish the season had ended differently, but there's always next year. Thank you, Peewee, for the great years you've given to this league and to this one you've given to the Storm. I hope everybody gets some well-deserved rest and has a great offseason. See you next summer, everybody!

Thank you for your wonderful year with its up and down, only end too soon. You all are so great I can't wait until next year. The owners, players and staff are the greatest. Thank you Force 10!!

The players were great both on and off the court. When I emailed the staff about making my Mother's 85th birthday special they suprised her with her name on the screen a passes to meet a player after the game. The player was PeeWee. She was so nice to my mother she talks about it today.
