Storm forward Swin Cash was the last remaining Storm player without an overseas destination this winter. Cash made her announcement Monday via Twitter and SwinCash.com, telling fans that she plans to return to China to play with DongGuan New Century Club, the same team she played with last season but not under new ownership.
“My time spent in China last season was invaluable to my on court performance this past summer during our championship run in Seattle,” said Cash. “It gave me an opportunity to hone my skills and build confidence while learning through trial and error.”
We’ll have updates on Cash’s performance as soon as she begins playing in the WCBA.
