Storm mascot Doppler joined a variety of local sports and entertainment figures for Tuesday’s annual Salvation Army Celebrity Bell Ringing. Doppler and the other celebrities brought attention to the Salvation Army’s holiday Red Kettle campaign by ringing the familiar bells in front of the downtown Nordstroms.
Doppler was joined by the head coaches of the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Husky football teams (Pete Carroll and Steve Sarkisian), Seattle University women’s head coach Joan Bonvicini (with Doppler at right), the Mariner Moose, Sounders FC defender James Riley, Seahawks color analyst (and former quarterback) Warren Moon and others from the sports world.
