Storm point guard Sue Bird is featured in the national television commercial for Nike Basketball’s new campaign, Basketball Never Stops. The campaign emphasizes that even though the NBA might be locked out, basketball goes on. Star professionals are shown working on their games and playing during the summer, while at the same time amateurs at every level play for the love of the game.
Bird makes a cameo using her shooting skills to compete against Ricardo Reyes, the Los Angeles busboy who beat several NBA players in pop-a-shot on Jimmy Kimmel Live last summer. See her at the 1:10 mark of the video:
