The WNBA just announced the schedule for the Storm’s upcoming Western Conference Semifinals series in the 2009 WNBA Playoffs. The Storm will play on the road Wednesday, Sept. 16 before coming home to host Game 2 at KeyArena on Friday, Sept. 18 at 7:00 p.m. and Game 3 (if necessary) on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 2:00 p.m.
Games 1 and 3 of the series will be televised on ESPN2, with Game 2 on NBA TV. The Storm’s opponent and destination for Game 1 still have yet to be determined. Los Angeles is a win away from clinching the Western Conference’s third seed and a matchup with the Storm, but Minnesota and San Antonio both remain alive.
Remember that tickets for Game 2 of the Storm’s series, which will be on Friday night, are on sale now.
